Summer Camp in the Colestin

Welcome to the Gateway Grove!

Our three-day, two-night journey set on 120 acres of wildland in the heart of the Colestin Valley—a creative, nature-based adventure where kids explore how they can be, what they can build, and how deeply we can create belonging together.

At Gateway Mentoring, we believe every person—and the land itself—deserves to feel safe, loved, and celebrated in every moment. Music is one of our deepest forms of connection—we play together every day, encouraging kids to drum, sing, write, and to play multiple instruments.

Our mentors walk beside the youth, listening, encouraging, and challenging them to grow into the life they imagine. We trust that kids are the experts of their own lives, and we’re here to help their lives be as big as possible.

Nights under the stars are especially important—dreaming, resting, and waking into the rhythms of the earth. With artistic mentors and nature guides, kids will craft, design, bike, hike, swim, and shape both the land and their own stories.

Day-only spots are available, but we encourage the full, immersive journey.

In a time when so many kids are stuck behind screens, we ask: what do they carry in their imaginations? What do their hands, voices, and hearts want to create? And for us as guides, how can we help bring it to life?

The cost for this 3-day/2-night camp is $275. This includes the land, all activities, guides (Aaron and Felipe), and yummy food. The cost to come out for the day, dropoff 9am and pickup 4pm, is $75 and includes lunch.
